What do you say about a couple as special as Josh and Trevor? They have been a part of my life long before there was a wedding to plan, or even an engagement. Josh came into my life at a time that I had been so consumed by photography that I had forgotten how to do anything else. I decided to start taking voice lessons as an outlet from all the inherent pressures that come along with being a wedding photographer. Josh was first my voice coach, and soon after he became my very good friend. Life has the tendency of sending you exactly the person you need at exactly the time you need them. Josh is one of those friends who often has more faith in me than I have in myself, which has been tremendously meaningful both with my singing and photography. When I had decided to give up photography after the pandemic turned mine and everyone else’s world upside down is the exact time Josh decided I should be his wedding photographer. It was my love for Josh and a strong desire to give him and Trevor the best possible wedding photography that fueled my recommitment to wedding photography. The result are these beautiful images of this gorgeous couple that they will have to cherish forever.

Josh and Trevor were married in an intimate and elegant wedding at the historic Hamilton Hall in the heart of Salem, Massachusetts. The two grooms started their day getting ready together at the very chic Merchant Hotel, just a short walk from their venue. The day was threatened by torrential rains from an incoming tropical system. But just as I arrived to begin documenting their day, the clouds parted and the day turned out to be beautiful.

Music was clearly a very important element to their love story. Friends contributed throughout the day with breath taking performances, and Josh even sang and recorded the song they danced to during their reception. It was such a profoundly special day to be a part of. I even had to shoot through a tear or two during the ceremony. But I will let the images speak for themselves.
